Ludgvan Lions recently hosted their 5th Annual Plymouth Argyle Fundays. With two days of wonderful sunshine nearly ninety players, from Ludgvan and many other clubs in the area enjoyed the skills, competitions and games.

The usual format of "World Cup" teams was followed. The players all have a chance to earn points for their country over the two days, including a quiz at lunchtime. Some very hard questions are answered by these knowledgeable players, including one which took time to work out. Can you answer it?? ".. Using all the vowels AEIOU, which football team uses all five vowels in their name? The clue was ...not premiership.

At the end of the two days the anticipation is high with all the teams hoping to have accrued enough points to become the "World Champions". Sporting prizes are awarded for both junior and senior players as are prizes for the skills, then the team, this years World champions are Scotland. Well done to each and every player who attended, you all behaved and played with sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
